Dayhanna

Dayhanna is a delightful 4-year-old female German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP) mix who is currently in search of her forever home. Unfortunately, her present human is facing health challenges due to a disability that limits their ability to provide Dayhanna with the regular exercise and stimulation that she requires to thrive. Dayhanna has been a part of this loving household since she was just 4 months old, creating a strong bond with her human. During her time in this home, she has also experienced the loss of her canine sibling, which has undoubtedly impacted her emotional well-being and added to the urgency of finding her a new, loving environment.

Throughout her life, Dayhanna has been exposed to children of various ages, ranging from infants under the age of 2 to teenagers. She genuinely enjoys their company and is known for her affectionate nature. However, her enthusiasm sometimes leads her to forget her size, resulting in her jumping up on young ones in her excitement to greet them. This exuberance, while endearing, may require some guidance to ensure that she interacts appropriately with smaller children, as her playful energy can be overwhelming at times.

In addition to her love for children, Dayhanna has shown a friendly disposition towards indoor cats, coexisting peacefully with them in the home. However, her instincts take over when it comes to outdoor cats, leading her to chase them, which is a natural behavior for a dog of her breed.

Dayhanna is characterized by her dainty and feminine demeanor, which complements her playful personality. She has a few quirks that make her unique, such as her fondness for popcorn; she enjoys sharing this snack with her human, making it a special bonding experience. Dayhanna is a loving companion who needs someone who can shower her with affection and attention, as she thrives on love and companionship. Finding her a new home where she can receive the care, exercise, and love she deserves is of utmost importance, and she is ready to bring joy and warmth to a new family.
