Dylan

Dylan is a sweet 7-year-old male seeking what we believe is his third forever home. He wasn't treated well in his first home and was thankfully returned to the breeder. His next family took him in when he was around 2 years old. They have done a lot of hunting with him, and he is very people-oriented. He loves to cuddle and be with people, and he doesn't know any strangers. Unfortunately, his owners are elderly and moved to a smaller home where their new HOA only allows one dog, so they are keeping their 11-year-old pointer, hoping it will be easier to find Dylan a final forever home. He is now in foster care in Burley, ID. He is house trained and is scheduled to be neutered on 3/16, after which he will be available for adoption.

Can 'wind birds' up to 100 yards away, will freeze and go on point - will stand for up to 30 minutes. Has been hunted extensively over the last 5+ years. Is said not to be a big talker, except at feeding time. He gets along with other dogs, and loves to play so would thrive in a home with another dog.
