Sage

Sage is a gentle, and incredibly sweet 7 year old female Vizsla who loves everyone she meets. Her favorite things are snuggling, sniffing walks, and a tug-of-war once she feels safe. She’s highly trainable, eager to please, and responds quickly to commands—even when excited. She knows sit, come, place, kennel, and off, is crate trained, allows nail trims, and walks beautifully with an e-collar (usually just the beep).

Sage LOVES kids, althoguh she doesn't mind dogs outside the home, she has proven that she would really prefer to be the only dog in the house. She’s sensitive, so in tight quarters in a house if another dog snaps at her, or barks at something outside, she thinks it is directed towards her, she becomes defensive, but has previously shown to she tolerates respectful playmates.

Sage is velvety soft, attentive, and ready to bond deeply with someone who wants a loyal, loving companion who gives the best hugs.

Her second foster family fell in love and helped get her through some dental vet visits and mass removals.
