5yr old neutered male
Scout is a 5-year-old GWP/Lab mix in search of a permanent home because his family has moved, and he now resides with another dog, making separation difficult. Scout gets along well with children and other dogs outside the home. He has shown some resource guarding with the other unaltered male in the house but has never had issues with other dogs. He is well-trained, including with an e-fence, e-collar, hunt training, and both basic and advanced obedience. He loves both water and snow. He has an excellent nose and loves to track. He is crate trained and knows basic commands. Scout is a quiet dog who enjoys long naps and sitting on the porch watching the world go by. He’s trained to stay on the property using a collar with tones and sits by the door when he wants to go outside. He loves playing fetch and swimming. He is very treat-motivated and easy to train. Although he has a history of seizures, they are well-controlled with medication and don’t slow him down at all! He has been seizure free for over 3 years!
