Twila-adopted

Twila is a sweet, approximately 9-month-old female black lab pointer who ended up in a high-kill shelter near Los Angeles, California. She contracted kennel cough, and when she didn't improve, she was at risk of being euthanized. Fortunately, we intervened just in time and rescued her. She is now in a foster-to-adopt situation in California. Her foster reports that she is very intelligent and already knows her basic commands. She does exhibit some kennel anxiety, which we are addressing. Twila is now spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and her cough has finally cleared up. She would thrive with someone who can spend a lot of time with her and is willing to invest the effort and training that a high-energy puppy requires. And lucky for us, her foster filled that role so she is staying in CA!
