Daisy is an adorable and affectionate 6-year-old female German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP) who is eagerly searching for her forever home where she can feel safe and loved. Unfortunately, Daisy was initially given to a family for safe holding, but sadly, they never returned to pick her up, leaving her in need of a new and caring family. This sweet girl has a wonderful temperament and thrives in a variety of social settings; she does exceptionally well with other dogs, is gentle and playful with kids, and even gets along nicely with cats! Her friendly nature makes her a great addition to any household looking for a loving companion.

Daisy exhibits a high hunt drive, which is characteristic of her breed, though it remains unclear whether she has been actively hunted over in the past. This instinctual behavior could make her an excellent partner for outdoor activities, as she enjoys exploring and embarking on new adventures. She has a playful spirit and loves to snuggle, making her the perfect balance of an energetic playmate and a cozy cuddle buddy. Her affectionate demeanor is sure to bring joy to her future family.

Currently, Daisy resides in a very small town, which presents some challenges, particularly regarding access to veterinary care. The nearest veterinarian is a considerable two-hour drive away, and efforts are being made to get her into a vet for her necessary vaccinations and spaying. It is important to note that these medical procedures may need to be completed as part of the adoption process to ensure she is healthy and ready for her new life. Daisy is already kennel trained and house trained, which makes her transition to a new home much easier. Additionally, she has a solid understanding of basic obedience commands, showcasing her intelligence and eagerness to please her humans.
