Johnny is a neutered 3yr old liver and white, handsome GSP. His owner got divorced, after Johnny's owner was deployed and living with extended family, leaving the military, and moving to another job that is going to keep him away from home alot, he decided being with extended family was not a good long term solution for Johnny.

He is a high-energy and affectionate dog, embodying the perfect blend of enthusiasm and warmth. His adventurous spirit shines through in his eagerness to explore new environments and engage in exciting activities. Whether it's a hike in the woods, a day at the beach, or simply a trip to the local park, Johnny is always ready for adventure, his tail wagging with anticipation. However, this same spirited nature also means that he thoroughly enjoys those quieter moments spent cuddling on the couch or snuggling up next to his favorite humans. These moments of relaxation are essential for him, providing a balance to his otherwise active lifestyle.

To keep Johnny happy and well-adjusted, it is crucial for him to have some form of job or task to focus on. Without a job, he can become restless and exhibit signs of anxiety or boredom, which may lead to unwanted behaviors. His time at doggy boot camp was an important step in addressing some of these behavior issues. During that week-long program, he learned basic commands and received training aimed at curbing his more troublesome tendencies, such as his habit of counter-surfing. This behavior often leads him to investigate kitchen counters and tables for any enticing food items left unattended, showcasing his cleverness and determination. When given the chance, Johnny can be quite the little thief, and it’s essential for his owners to be vigilant in keeping food and other tempting items out of his reach.
