Moe-Adopted

This sweet boy is named Moe. He is an approximately 3-year-old neutered male GSP currently staying at the main rescue house just outside of Helena, MT. Previously, he was fostered in SLC for a few months to decompress from shelter life and got along well with his canine brother. He then moved to a foster home in Florence, MT for some training, where he learned commands like "place," waits patiently at thresholds, and responds excellently to the ecollar with just a tone. Moe is great at checking in independently but enjoys ranging out 100-200 yards. He was introduced to pigeons in launchers and by the fourth pigeon, he performed exceptionally well.

Unfortunately, he developed what the vet suspects might be tendonitis in his left shoulder. It's unclear if this is a new or old injury, but based on X-rays, it's likely an old one. Currently, he's on kennel rest, and we will reassess towards the end of March.

Moe is adjusting well to the house environment, even with eight other dogs coming and going, he stays calm and watches all the things. He rides wonderfully in the car kennel, loves nighttime snuggles, and will sleep curled up on the bed if allowed, though he also sleeps peacefully in his kennel.
