Sweet Papa was surrendered to a high kill shelter in UT for unknown reasons, but he was in ruff shape when he arrived to the shelter, with his hair patted with poop, other spots he is loosing his hair, he was lethargic and needed out. We found out this wasn't his first time to that shelter and he had been adopted a few years ago. Thankfully we had a great foster close by that went and picked him up the same day we found out about him. We got him into the vet day after and imaging and lab results were inconclusive. He had continued care and work up for bladder cancer, which ultimately ended up being negative. Through that process, his hips have become weaker. His fosters decided they couldn't bare to move him again in his most likely final months of life, so decided to change their foster hospice status to an adoptive hospice so Papa knows he is home!

Adopted 8/2/26
