Spot is a delightful and energetic 10-month-old German Shorthaired Pointer mix who is currently in urgent need of a foster home or a foster-to-adopt situation. Unfortunately, his current owner is experiencing health issues that prevent them from providing the care and attention that Spot truly deserves. This situation has created an immediate need for someone who can step in and offer him a loving and supportive environment and thankfully we were able to find a foster locally in Missoula on short notice!

Spot is not just any dog; he is a bundle of joy, full of life and personality. His playful nature makes him a delightful companion, and he thrives on interaction with people. He has a particular fondness for soft toys, which he enjoys playing with immensely. However, it's important to note that his enthusiasm can sometimes lead him to tear them apart rather quickly, so durable toys may be a better option for him. His rambunctious spirit means he loves to run, play, and explore, making him an ideal candidate for an active household that can match his energy levels.

Despite his playful demeanor, Spot does require a significant amount of attention and engagement from his caregivers. He is still in the process of learning basic obedience commands and may not be fully trained yet, which means that his new foster or adoptive family will need to invest time in teaching him the necessary skills for good behavior. This training will not only help Spot become a well-mannered companion but will also strengthen the bond between him and his new family. With patience and consistency, he will surely blossom into a well-adjusted and obedient dog.
