Crockett

Crockett is one of six remarkable dogs that we had the privilege to assist in a rescue operation from southern Arizona. These dogs were part of a group that needed urgent help after their outfitter, who had been providing care, unfortunately fell ill. At just 6.5 years young, Crockett has already experienced a life filled with adventure, having been actively used for hunting and enjoying the great outdoors. His previous lifestyle has equipped him with a wealth of experiences that make him a unique companion.

Upon arriving in our care, Crockett was placed in a loving foster home with a good friend and a previous adopter who lives near Anchorage, Alaska. This transition is crucial for him as it allows him to acclimate to a new environment while receiving the love and attention he deserves. He is scheduled to be neutered on June 15, which is an important step in ensuring his long-term health and well-being. Following this procedure, he will embark on a journey to Alaska, with his flight scheduled for June 21. This move marks a significant moment in his life as he prepares for the next chapter.

Once in Alaska, Crockett will undergo a thorough evaluation to assess his personality, behavior, and specific needs. This assessment is vital in determining what his ideal forever home will look like. We have received positive feedback regarding his temperament, particularly that he is good with other dogs, which is an encouraging sign for potential adopters who may have existing pets. His sociable nature will likely make him a wonderful addition to a family looking to welcome a furry friend into their lives.
