ace

Meet Ace – a goofy, affectionate 4-year-old GSP looking for his forever home!
Ace’s story started in a rural Texas shelter before he was transported to Boise, Idaho after the July 2025 floods. He was briefly adopted by a wonderful older couple who adored him, but his high energy proved to be more than they could keep up with. Now back in foster care, Ace is showing us every day what a fun, lovable dog he is.
True to his breed, Ace thrives on daily exercise and loves to run. His foster family is working on recall with an e-collar, and he’s catching on quickly! He’s also great on leash - easy to redirect back from scents and squirrels. Ace is learning his basic cues like sit, down, and stay, and he’s always happy to work for cheese. He’s a toy enthusiast and loves everything from stuffies to balls, kongs, and bumpers.
Ace has done well with his foster brother, though he will benefit from ongoing training and socialization to refine his manners and boost his confidence.
Because of his bumpy past, Ace does have some anxiety, but with regular exercise, a solid routine, and the comfort of a crate, he does well.
His ideal forever family will have someone home more often than not, and be ready to include him in daily exercise and adventures.
Ace hasn’t been formally hunted, but his natural scenting, searching, and steady points on the trail make us think he could have potential as a hunting companion.

Ryder in BC

Meet Ryder — A Skilled, Loyal German Shorthaired Pointer
Ryder is a neutered 3-year-old purebred German Shorthaired Pointer from three generations of proven hunting dogs. I’ve raised him since he was a puppy, and he’s grown into a highly motivated, intelligent, and steady companion. He’s been crate-trained from day one, has completed behavior training, and is fully e-collar trained — though he’s so responsive now that he hardly needs it anymore. His recall is excellent, and when off-leash in the bush, he naturally sticks close and doesn’t wander far. He is house trained!
Ryder likes his indoor Kennel during the winter and late fall. He will sleep outside in dog run with a bed and crate during the late spring and summer months. Ryder lives with teenagers and Toddlers and He lives with two cats and another dog
Ryder has experience hunting bear, deer, and birds. He’s showing real promise with scent tracking, though I haven’t had the time to fully develop this skill with him. He’s happiest when he’s working and would truly thrive in a home where he can regularly hunt, train, and stay active.
He currently lives on a fenced rural property alongside a German Shepherd. They get along great and spend all day together without issue. While Ryder is capable of easily clearing a 4-foot fence, he chooses to stay home. He is protective of his space and will bark or act wary toward strangers at our gated driveway — a quality some may appreciate.
Ryder is wonderful with our children and a solid family dog. With other dogs, he prefers calm introductions; once he has a chance to get comfortable (usually within minutes), he’s fine and will even play.
The owner's growing family and changing living situation mean we can’t give Ryder the time and active lifestyle he deserves.
He’s a special dog — loyal, talented, and eager to work — and he’ll flourish in a hunting or working-dog household that can keep his mind and body engaged.
If you’re looking for a trained, experienced, and affectionate hunting partner who will stay close, listen well, and love the work, Ryder might be the perfect fit for your family and field.

Renarin

Meet Renarin a spirited 10mnt old male GSP looking for his forever home. He is currently located in Coeur d'Alene, ID.
Despite having been through three different owners Renarin is a loving companion who thrives on human connection. He likes to run alongside an eScooter. I love people, and going downtown, but stranger dogs kinda freak me out. I will need slow introductions with any new dogs as I didn't get the socialization that I should have in my younger years, but good news is I'm still young and ready to learn! He is ready for slow introductions to new furry friends. With your help, he can become well-socialized dog he deserves to be!I
'm not a big swimmer, but splashing a long the river is a lot of fun. Duck jerky is my favorite treat. My commands are in a mix of English and German, but I've learned a lot in the last 5 months- sit, stay, place, a few variations of recall, middle, to slow down or go faster, and to wait before going out/in the gate and doors.
Are you ready to help shape my future? Could you be my forever home I have been searching for?

Lucky

Meet Lucky! Lucky was surrendered to the shelter for not leaving the chickens alone — but don’t be too surprised, it’s in his breed. Lucky is about 5- 7 years young, full of energy, eager to please, and great with other dogs. We’re not sure how he does with cats or kids yet, as his current foster home doesn’t have either.
He’s up to date on vaccines and will be neutered and have a dental cleaning in the next few weeks. He’ll also be microchipped before adoption.
Lucky is a quick learner! He’s already improving on leash manners and is kennel trained — he eats and sleeps in his crate. He’s very food-motivated, loves chew toys, and hasn’t chewed on anything he shouldn’t. His foster says he’s also a major cuddle bug!
Lucky does occasionally mark indoors, but we expect that to improve after his much-needed neuter. He’ll come with belly bands just in case.
His ideal home would have a fenced yard and someone who can keep him both mentally and physically stimulated — he’s a working dog at heart!
If you’d like to meet Lucky, he’s currently being fostered in West Jordan, UT. He’s also looking for a new foster home that can keep up with his energy level.
